Imagine – going to a music concert without having to get a babysitter or stay up past your bedtime.

Alison Porter, Owner of Lovenotes School of Music has launched a monthly concert series for adults — mid-day, mid-week and free. The only catch –  adults must be accompanied by their kids in TOw. Rockin’ parents get a little break from their day-to-day routine and equally rockin’ kids and babes have a chance to see and hear new instruments and rip up the dance floor experiencing live music.

Last month’s ‘sold-out’ inaugural show by Toronto’s Barrel Boys took place at The Blue Crow Gallery. The  June concert by Toronto cello duo Vc2 is at The Coal Mine Theatre on Danforth East. Arrive early – seating is first come first serve. Keep up to date here.

TRIP TIPS:
Getting there: The Coal Mine Theatre is at 1454 Danforth Ave. By TTC, walk-able from Greenwood Station on the Bloor-Danforth Subway. PS subway station is not accessible. Driving, lots of paid street parking along the Danforth ($1.50 / hour.)
