Winter Stations at The Beach

The Winter Stations are back!

Six new art installations have popped up along Woodbine Beach in Toronto’s east end. This year’s edition of the Winter Stations features three Canadian and three international teams of artists and designers who have transformed the lifeguard stations into interpretations of Migration — it’s a movement of people and ideas. Among them, a wall (very timely) and a colour presentation of monarch butterflies.

The series is on display until April 1, 2019 along Woodbine Beach starting at Ashbridge’s Bay. They are all in walking distance of each other. If you head there while snow is still on the ground, the littles will love all the hills to climb on and in between.
