While we can’t meet up for brunch or gather with our moms in TOw, there are still some ways to say best-mom-ever whether she’s in your household or not. I am inspired by the super talented and creative local mom biz owners who keep doing what they do best.

TERRA SOAP CO. Soaps, salts, gift baskets for moms to hide away in the bath tub. (And please don’t bother them!) I spy these soaps and hand towels at the East Side Mom Pop-Up on Queen St. E just east of Greenwood Ave (on until Mother’s Day!)
COCONUT AND CORD Macramé is all the rage. Is your mama in TOw into plant hangers and wall hangings or earrings and necklaces? Either way the women behind this new east end company has you covered. I personally love love love their DIY kits that let you spend some crafty virtual time with your mom.
RONCY PACKS Fanny packs, hip sacks, whatever you call them, these up-scaled from pre-loved fabric creations are among my faves.
MARMALADE DESIGNS Personalized jewellery is such a thoughtful gift. I received a custom handmade charm necklace for mother’s day gift last year and I love it so much.
SOME OF THE PARTS Tell me a mom that doesn’t love upping her bag game. Lots of size and colour options (I am hearting the new Get Around Pack.) PS: This is the mom behind the awesome Mimitens. You need to follow her because she is always coming up with new ideas and collaborations to make the world a better place.
LESLIEVILLE BUNDLES These two local moms have created a beautiful flower company out of their homes, delivering bundles of flowers (and love) each week. Also delivers outside the Leslieville zone.
