November, that grey month where the fall colours disappear and cloudy skies and darker evenings take over, thanks to daylight savings. The s-word (snow) is not far behind. But have no fear, the city’s calendar is bright with new family-friendly events and destinations where your teens to tag along.

November with kids and teens in TOw

1.E.T. in Concert – This family-friendly performance by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra is hands-down one of my favourite experiences when my eldest was a kid in TOw. Very different from when I first saw E.T. as a kid, watching the movie and listening to the record (yes, record) that came with the children’s book. This generation of kids in TOw get to experience E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial  on the big screen with the score performed live by the TSO. E.T. in Concert Nov 7 & 8, Roy Thomson Hall
