Park season is in full swing. And contrary to what the rest of Canada may think, Torontonians have tons of green space to play in. There are thousands playgrounds, parkettes, paths and ravines in parks and schoolyards across the GTA.
We love returning to the biggies like High Park, Withrow and Corktown Common and have discovered some lesser-known gems like those along the Beach Boardwalk and Toronto’s first ‘natural’ design at McCleary Playground. We often make a park the starting point to explore a new hood and we’re looking for new destinations.
Have you discovered a super spot? Are you proud of your local stretch of grass? Do tell! Send a picture, location and why you love it (eg. is it the awesome sandbox, its abundance of park toys or because it has the best shade in the summer?) And email to info(at)kidsinTO(dot)com.
