Weekend Wagon with Kids in TOw – November 4-5, 2017

Sliding into the weekend. There is an awesome mix for things to do in Toronto for families. Our top picks for this weekend:

BLAST FROM THE PAST: This weekend Ontario Place’s Cinesphere reopens to the public. Two screenings of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.


COUNTRY IN THE CITY: The annual Royal Winter Agricultural Fair opens this weekend and runs until November 12, 2017. First-timer? Here is a recap of our first visit.


THE VIKINGS HAVE LANDED: The Royal Ontario Museum’s VIKINGS: The Exhibition opens this weekend.


DAY OF THE DEAD: Celebration of Latin American culture at Evergreen Brick Works on Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) The Day of the Dead celebrations include live music, traditional dancing, storytelling and a special Mercado with tasty dishes. Admission is free.


SHOP UP FOR MOMS: For the moms in TOw, Lovemom.ca hosts a pop-up shop in Lesliville on Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be video games and colouring for the kids, so you know, mom can actually shop.


SKATE AT THE OLD MAPLE LEAF GARDENS: Free Community Skate at the Mattamy Athletic Centre – Saturday from 1 – 3 p.m.
